- Nature's Sweethearts
February 11, 2017
3:00 pm - 4:30 pm
Join the Lake Conestee Park Educators for a fun afternoon exploring the softer side of the park. We will learn about some of the unique relationships that occur between different organisms in the park and then create an animal themed Valentine inspired by the book My Heart is like a Zoo by Michael Hall. Check the weather and dress accordingly. We hope to have a campfire and some warm beverages to keep everyone cozy!
Ages: Geared for children ages 4-8 accompanied by an adult but all ages are welcome.
Where: Shortleaf Shelter (new covered pavilion). The closest parking lot to the pavilion is by the LCNP office (601 Fork Shoals Rd.) which is labeled as W2 on the park map.
Cost: $8 for one child accompanied by an adult; each additional child is $5.50.
Pre-registration is required and closes at noon on Friday, February 10th. Minimum of 10 participants required.
